CURRENTLY, COMMUNITY-WIDE CAMPAIGNS ARE CONDUCTED IN RAPID CITY, STURGIS AND NORTHERN COMMUNITIES LEAD, DEADWOOD, SPEARFISH AND BELLE FOURCHE, AS WELL AS SOUTHERN COMMUNITIES HOT SPRINGS, CUSTER, HILL CITY, KEYSTONE, AND EDGEMONT. ORGANIZATION ALSO SPEARHEADS EFFORTS TO IDENTIFY COMMUNITY NEEDS, DEVELOPS A COMMUNITY RESPONSE TO THOSE NEEDS, AND PROMOTES TEAMWORK AMONG LOCAL NONPROFITS.

Lead, represent and assist districts in promoting a healthy enviroment. Concerns include soil and grassland health, water quality and quantity, air quality, forestry, wildlife, recreation and human health.

PROMOTING CANYON ACOUSTIC SERIES, WHICH IS A FREE SUMMER MUSIC SERIES, AND OTHER VARIOUS MUSIC EVENTS IN SPEARFISH AREA BENEFITING COMMUNITY. ALSO RAISING FUNDS FOR BUILDING OF A COMMUNITY BANDSHELL.
